The Wolf Blass wines are made at all price points, ranging through Red,Yellow, Gold, Brown, Grey, Black, White and Platinum labels covering every one of the main varietals. In 2016 a new range of wines labelled BLASS was introduced. The style and range of the wines continue to subtly evolve under the leadership of chief winemaker Chris Hatcher. Wolf Blass Wines has won more than 3,000 awards at national and international wine shows, including an incredible four Jimmy Watson Trophies; International Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 1992, 2002 and 2013; International Red Winemaker of the Year at the 2008 International Wine Challenge; and Australian Wine Producer of the Year at the 2013 China Wine and Spirit Awards.

Wolf Blass has recruited some of Australia’s greatest winemakers including John Glaetzer and Caroline Dunn, considered to be some of the country’s best red winemakers. Chris Hatcher, one of Australia’s leading winemakers and respected Wine Show Judges was also an early recruit and continues to lead the Wolf Blass winemaking team today.

With its heartland in the Barossa Valley, Wolf Blass sources fruit from vineyards across South Australia and beyond, to create wines of superior quality, character and consistency. The Wolf Blass style is highly distinctive, highlighting variety, region, vineyard and blend. Our focussed approach results in lifted vibrant fruit flavours, a soft, fleshy palate and well-integrated tannins that are the hallmarks of the range.
