The 2016 Terra Felix Heathcote Shiraz presents a deep plum hue with a crimson tint. On the nose, it offers dark berry fruits complemented by lifted spice and well-balanced white pepper nuances. The palate reveals rich flavors of chocolate and spices, with a subtle oak influence adding structure, while firm tannins provide great length. This full-bodied wine has a textural mouthfeel and bold, complex flavors. Matured in French and American oak barriques for 18 months, it showcases a glowing red color, aromas of spice, and a touch of vanillin oak above a core of savory pepper. Enjoyable now, this Shiraz will continue to develop over the next five years.
