About This Wine

From Kimmeridgian marl soils with ferric ions and surface gravel, the vineyard faces south-east. Alcoholic fermentation occurred with natural yeast at 18°C for three weeks, followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured on fine lees with monthly stirring for 18 months to enhance concentration, texture and longevity.

Nose
Minerality and stone fruits, with fruity and spicy notes emerging slowly.

Palate
Rounded and powerful, reminiscent of buttered brioche with Mirabelle and jammed apple.
